Healthy Lunch Recipes
Pickle Rollups
Your kids can’t resist these healthy yet amazingly delicious pickle roll-ups.
What you’ll need:
- 6 oz of ham or salami
- 4 oz of cream cheese
- 2 tsp of chopped dill
- Black pepper and paprika to taste
- 4 medium dill pickles
How to make:
Lay two slices of ham for each roll-up and top a tablespoon of cream cheese. Sprinkle it with paprika, pepper, and dill. Place the pickle in the middle and roll the ham around them. Then slice the pickle roll-ups into four pieces.
Chocolate Chip Banana Sandwiches
Try these good old peanut butter sandwiches with chocolate chip cookies. You’ll kids surely will enjoy them.
What you’ll need:
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter
- 2 tbsp of honey
- 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of chocolate chips
- 1 banana, sliced thinly
- 3 slices of bread
How to make:
Mix the peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon and add the chocolate chips. Spread them over the sliced bread and put the sliced bananas on top.
Garlic Bread Sandwiches
No one can resist these garlic bread pizza sandwiches. Try them yourself!
What you’ll need:
- 1 package of toast
- 1/c cup of tomato or pasta sauce
- 4 slices of cheese and 16 slices of pepperoni
- 8 slices of salami
How to make:
Preheat the griddle and add the garlic toast and cook each side for about 4 minutes. Put 1 tablespoon of sauce over the toast and top with the remaining ingredients including the cheese. Melt the cheese for about 3-5 minutes.

- Bread cut into squares

- Bread and butter pickles

- Salami
- French bread, cut into squares

Glazed Doughnut Holes
Your kids will surely love this delicious and sweet doughnut recipe — and it’s excellent for a snack.
What you’ll need:
- 2 cups of confectioners’ sugar
- 3 to 5 tbsp of frozen cherry, cranberry, or grape juice
- 12 doughnut holes (you can get these at your local shop)
Lemon Variation:
- 5 tbsp of lemon juice
- 2 cups of sugar
How to make:
Simply whisk the sugar and juice concentrate until you can achieve a thicker consistency. Dip the doughnut holes and transfer them to a waxed paper.
Do the same for the lemon variation of the recipe.
Fruit and Nut Yogurt
Try this if you want a more healthy and energy-boosting healthy snack recipe for your little ones.
What you’ll need:
- 3 tbsp chopped nuts
- 1 tbsp sunflower and pumpkin seed
- 1 sliced of ripe banana
- A handful of frozen berries
- 200 g vanilla yogurt
How to make:
Mix the nuts, seeds, banana, and berries. Then layer up in a bowl with the yogurt.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Apples
This simple yet delicious healthy snack recipe will only take you about 10 minutes to prepare.
What you’ll need:
- 2 apples
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter and jelly
How to make:
Slice the apples into rounds and use a cookie cutter for cutting the core from the center of each apple slice. Spread the peanut butter and jelly on half of the apple slices and cover it with the other half.
