Hi, I am Z Can’t wait to see you at Woodcrest Meet our friend Z.  He is the lovable mascot for Woodcrest Preschools social and emotional learning program.  Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.  Woodcrest Preschool partnered with Sanford Harmony to implement social and emotional learning in our Pre-k classrooms.  This tool has been very effective in helping students with empathy, communication, and participation.  Visit Sanford Harmony to learn more.
